Diamond core drill bits are made of steel with micro diamond pieces embedded into the cutting edge to offer maximum longevity. Providing precision cutting, you will see results at speeds up to 5 times faster than compared to conventional drilling methods, they also result in less noise, less dust, and reduced operator fatigue. With no material breakout, the core can be removed in one piece ensuring that making good is not needed after drilling. Kit Contents
Astra Cutting Edge Tradesman 11 Piece Dry Diamond Core Bit Kit includes cores of 42mm, 52mm, 78mm, 117mm & 127mm diameters. In addition there are a number of accessories included in the kit. 200mm adaptors are included to enable the diamond cores to be used with either a standard 3-jaw drill chuck or an SDS Plus drill. The tapered masonry pilot drill bit fits snugly into the adaptor within the diamond core and will ensure the diamond core is centred and the cutting remains inline. The drift key allows the pilot drill bit to be easily extracted from any of the 3-jaw chuck adaptors or the SDS adaptors.
The kit is supplied in a padded flight case for secure transport. The case itself is wheeled, can be pulled by using an extending handle, or carried with the fixed handle.
