Quality Wire Stripping Pliers
Knipex VDE Wire Stripping Pliers are designed for solid or stranded wire up to 5mm (10mm²) diameter, with plastic or rubber insulation. These pliers have an internal screw for one hand adjustment and a smoothly ground, accurate V shaped polished jaw head with a locking adjustable screw to set the desired diameter required. Manufactured from special tool steel that is oil hardened and tempered.
Safety Tested
These fully insulated wire stripping pliers from Knipex are tested in a water bath at 10,000V, to guarantee that the insulation will provide protection from live voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC. These wire-stripping pliers are rigorously tested and approved to meet the EN 60900 European Standard.
The insulated, two colour handles have slip guards for greater comfort and safety. The handle is also made up of two parts; the movement zone and the gripping zone. The movement zone is made from a harder material that generates less friction when moving the hand, whereas the gripping zone is made from a softer material to ensure a firm grip and prevent the hand slipping.
