VDE Approved Diagonal Cutters
These Wiha Inomic® VDE Diagonal Cutters 160mm are suitable for safe working around voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500 V DC, having been individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts. Ideal for cutting both soft and hard wires and cables, the cutting blade has been manufactured using Wiha’s new Metal Injection Moulding process, which allows high quality bodies to be manufactured with no burrs.
For safety there is a locking mechanism that keeps the jaws of the pliers securely closed for transport and storage. When you are ready to start the next job, simply release the locking mechanism and the opening spring effortlessly prepares the pliers for use.

Part of Wiha’s Inomic® range of products, these combination pliers have been ergonomically designed from the ground up. As both arms of the pliers move in parallel, all fingers act simultaneously over the entire opening range, which allows 25% more force to be transferred thanks to the 23° angle between the blade and the handle.
This provides an optimum extension to the hand and wrist, eliminating the need to bend the wrist and resulting in fatigue free work. The handles are made from a lightweight, fibreglass reinforced plastic which is extremely strong and impact resistant. All of the metal parts have been coated to protect against corrosion, giving you a tool that will last much longer.
