Tiling is by no means a simple process. To get the job done right you need a wide range of tools, even after the tiles have been cut to shape. Grouters are an essential piece of kit, particularly when doing a great deal of tiling.
Laying Tiles & Grouting
With grouting playing such an important part in the tiling process, you really need to ensure that it is done correctly and preferably with limited fuss. For dealing with awkward shapes we have edge and "parrot" nippers, plus a number of other useful tools for laying tiles as well.
Tile Drilling Accessories
Drilling after laying, to fit such things as bathroom fittings or allow for water pipes etc, requires carbide tipped drill bits or diamond gritted drill bits and hole saws which are available in a variety of sizes.
Choose TCT bits for ceramics, but for porcelain or other very hard tiling substances you must opt for diamond. These drill bits can be attached to your electric drill with the appropriate arbour and need to be cooled with water.
