The power mitresaw or chopsaw is a very common sight these days on many work sites and even at home. Toolventure has put together a comprehensive range of the negative hook format blades needed for these power tools. The negative hook geometry reduces pick-up and snatching on chopsaws and particularly pullover saws on rails.
High Quality Tungsten Carbide Teeth
We have two alternative specifications to choose from. Astra Tradesman Series saw blades are precisely ground from tempered and hardened alloyed steel plate and have high quality tungsten carbide tips for efficiency and durability.
Precision Laser Cut Plate
Our enhanced performance Astra Lazertek range is precision laser cut from similar hardened alloyed steel plate, but combined with large micro grain TCT tips that stay sharper for longer. They also have the additional benefit of unique laser cut expansion slots that significantly reduce vibration and dissipate heat.
Wood & Aluminium Cutting
Both ranges have the most frequently used ATB wood blades and triple chip TCG ones with a special tooth geometry and composition for aluminium and plastics. All of the key diameters from 216mm to 305mm are available and supplied with 30mm bores.
