Quality Branded Wire Brushes
These types of wire brushes are for use only on angle grinders, typically ones having a M10 or M14 thread fitting. The cup format is ideal for flat, regular surfaces and the conical shape for bevelling irregular surfaces with edges or cracks.
Twist Knot & Crimped Wire Brushes
Two main alternatives are offered for the style of brush fill. These are 'crimped' (usually adequate for lighter finishing) and 'twist knot' which is intended for the aggressive removal of rust, paint and thick encrustations like weld residue. The latter is even capable of de-burring pipe edges and eliminating hard metal burrs.
Bench Grinder Wire Brushes
S.I.T bench grinder brushes are useable solely (as the title suggests) on bench grinders and come in different diameters and bores. Check for the right bore size and a diameter not larger than originally specified or supplied with the machine.
