Protection Against Heat
Ironclad’s Heatworx Utility Glove is the heat resistant glove that gives you the dexterity to do the job right. It features Ironclad’s exclusive Hotshield™ palm technology material. This material has the appearance, feel and durability of leather, but is also shrink and heat resistant and repels oil. The gloves are resistant to intermittent heat up to temperatures of 300°F / 150°C, but should not be used near open flames as they are not rated for flame resistance
Comfortable
Made from flexible, breathable fabrics the Heatworx Reinforced will adapt to the way you work. DuPont™ Kevlar® fibre is used extensively on the glove. Kevlar® was originally developed for bulletproof vests and is five times stronger than steel. It provides both heat and cut resistance and makes up the inner liner and stitching, as well as being blended into the outer shell. Both inner foam padding and an external neoprene rubber pad give the knuckles protection against knocks. The glove also has a personal ID tag to easily identify the wearer.
Multi-Purpose Gloves
The heat resistant fibres make the Ironclad Heatworx Utility Glove ideal for welding, fabrication, auto repair, and factory assembly. You can be confident these gloves will last as they will not shrink, stretch or harden during use or after machine washing.
