ABOUT TOOL VENTURE

Tool Venture began selling online in 2007 with a selection of high quality hand tools, workwear, PPE and tool storage products from manufacturers in the USA. These professional brands were not always available through normal retail channels in the UK and were expensive for individuals to ship over from the States. Realising this we created and launched the Tool Venture website where the trade can buy online with next day delivery to the location of their choice.

Our company’s history goes back to 1993 when David Gordon left his job selling power tools for Black & Decker & Dewalt to start his own business. The company he formed, Astra Tools, continues to distribute a range of power tool accessories, specialist hand tools, and tool storage products to tool merchants across the UK and Europe and still remains a family owned and run company today. The Tool Venture brand is the online trading name for Astra Tools.

The Tool Venture range of products now runs into many thousands and includes household tool and workwear brands from Europe and the USA. All products are stocked in our modern 10,000 sq ft distribution centre in Hatfield, Hertfordshire and shipped next day to the whole of the UK via a premium courier service. Our buying power allows us to source from all over the world at the most competitive prices and pass those discounts directly onto you.

Products and price are only half the story though with service being of equal importance to us. Our friendly, professional customer service team are available during office hours should you prefer to place your order by phone, need some impartial advice, technical support or check your order status. We’re also aware that your order is not complete until it has been delivered safely into your hands.
