The Direct Pressure Stainless Mud Pan from Marshalltown is designed to make drywall installation and maintenance easier and more comfortable than ever. Marshalltown have taken the basic mud pan shape used for decades and redesigned it, resulting in a round shape that makes it much easier to scoop out material. The mud pan is made from stainless steel, making it much less likely to stain, corrode or rust than normal steel. There are also easy to clean impact resistant tapered end caps on either side.

Conventional mud pans can be difficult to hold due to their smooth bottom and sides, requiring increased hand force to hold them during use. This can frequently tire the hand, wrist, arm and forearm, and possibly result in more serious injury with repeated use. To eliminate these risks Marshalltown have added an ergonomic DuraSoft rubber handle along the full width of the mud pan. This not only provides a secure grip but also supreme comfort throughout the day.
