The Eclipse Professional Hacksaw with Soft Feel Handle has a strong but lightweight tubular frame for greater comfort and control when sawing. The handle is covered with a comfortable soft feel rubber grip and comes with the Eclipse Plus 30 bi-metal steel blade. This cuts on the forward stroke and has 24 teeth per inch, allowing the saw to cut thin sheet steel, aluminium, mild steel, and plastic materials that have a thickness between 3mm (1/8") and 11mm (7/16").

The Eclipse Plus 30 is the next generation of hacksaw blade. Its revolutionary new tooth shape results in a blade that can cut 30% faster than conventional blades as proven in independent testing at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle. The tension of the blade can be quickly adjusted using the tensioning nut at the end of the saw.
