Stanley's adjustable block planes are designed to plane end grain accurately with vibration reduction due to the bevel being in the uppermost position. This is a compact 180mm, 40mm blade width block plane that is adjustable for depth of cut and alignment. The Stanley range of planes feature the finest hardened, tempered and precision ground chrome carbon alloy steel cutters to ensure a keen cutting edge. The precision cast fine grey iron base gives added stability and is wear resistant while the precision ground base and sides ensure performance to the highest tolerances.

Stanley's adjustable block planes have a kidney shaped lever cap screw hole to prevent accidental slippage of the cutter and a super strong polypropylene handle and knob that has been shaped for a comfortable hold. The tight fitting spring steel cap iron ensures a perfect shaving flow and the fully adjustable frog makes it suitable for all tasks and timber types.
