Stabila's LD500 Laser Distance Measurer allows precise measurements to be taken both indoors and outside at distances between 0.05-200m. With an extremely precise accuracy of +/- 1.0mm this device is ideal for professional use. This distance measurer has a coloured digital target locator with integral camera and a large, high-contrast, colour display with adjustable brightness to suit the ambient light level. The camera's 4x zoom features allows you to zoom in or out of the target to align the laser precisely even over long distances.

Measurements can be shown in metres, feet with inch fractional, or inch fractional, for both single and continuous distances. The distance measurer has 15 functions:

Angle Measurement - Angle sensor measures angles between +/- 45 degrees
Triangular Areas - Calculates surface area of triangle using length of its sides

An integrated calculator can be used for instance when adding to, multiplying, or subtracting from readings. The device also has a memory function for constants and for the last 20 figures measured. Since every important function has its own button for quick access, there is no need to scroll through menus to find a function. The plug-in target plate can be used on external corners or for increasing accuracy when aligning the laser on low reflective surfaces over longer distances.

The distance measurer has a robust impact resistant casing that offers IP54 protection against rain and dust, while the shock-absorbent soft grip makes it easy to handle. There is also a wrist strap and a convenient belt pouch, allowing the device to be safely stored when not in use. The expected battery life of the device is up to 5000 measurements and this product includes the LD 500 Laser Distance Measurer together with Plug-In Target Plate, Belt Pouch, Wrist Strap and 2x AA Batteries.
