The Wiha Inomic VDE Combination Pliers 180mm are suitable for safe working around voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500 V DC, having been individually tested in a water bath at 10,000 volts. Ideal for gripping, holding and cutting, the innovative head design has three parallel gripping surfaces at the opening angles of 2 degree, 10 degree and 20 degree, which offer a more secure hold of the workpiece.

All of the metal parts have been coated to protect against corrosion, giving you a tool that will last much longer. The teeth have been designed with a cross-profile gripping surface that provides a secure hold in all directions. For safety there is a locking mechanism that keeps the jaws of the pliers securely closed for transport and storage. When you are ready to start the next job, simply release the locking mechanism and the opening spring effortlessly prepares the pliers for use.

As both arms of the pliers move in parallel, all fingers act simultaneously over the entire opening range, which allows 25% more force to be transferred thanks to the 23 degree angle between the blade and the handle. This provides an optimum extension to the hand and wrist, eliminating the need to bend the wrist and resulting in fatigue free work.
