New & Improved Rubi TX-N Tile Cutters

As the number one contractors choice for professional tile cutting, Rubi are continually on the lookout for ways to improve their products.

Since its launch the TX-N Series has been aimed at tillers who need the ability to cut granulated or difficult-to-cut clay or ceramic tiles with ease. Rubi are now launching improved versions of all the models in the series, aimed at making this even easier!

We shall be introducing all the new models over the next few weeks, but to start with are bringing you the TX900.

Completely Redesigned Base

The biggest change to the TX-900-N is the shock-absorbing base which has been completely redesigned. As a tile cutter intended for cutting larger tile formats, the TX-900-N is heavier than the smaller tile cutters on offer. However the torsion resistant base of the new model is now made from aluminium, maintaining the strength of the previous version whilst reducing the overall weight.

The shock-absorbing ability has also been improved with the foam padded base plates replaced with two aluminium base plates. These are fitted with suspension devices that allow them to depress as the tile is broken. The fold out base accessories, which provide support for large tiles, are also equipped with this suspension device.
