The Astra Cutting Edge 13mm Keyless Impact Chuck with Lock Function is suitable for use on a range of impact, non-impact, cordless drills, or mains drills up to 550 watts. The injection moulded plastic body is both lightweight and high strength and the internal components are made from stainless steel. The chuck features a double sleeve lock function that will stop the chuck if a hard object is struck, preventing injury to the operator.

The front features three stainless steel grip-teeth in a triangular arrangement to ensure bits are accurately centred in the chuck. Dill bits ranging from 1.5mm to 13mm can be accommodated in the Astra Cutting Edge 13mm chuck. The chuck is also keyless, allowing for bits to be changed rapidly. The opposite end has a ½” x 20 UNF female thread for attaching to the included SDS adaptor. This allows the chuck to be used in drills that have an SDS Plus fitting.
