Sigma 3LM MAX SERIES Tile Cutter
The Sigma 3LM MAX SERIES Tile Cutter is designed to cut a range of tiles up to 20mm thick and is especially suited to uneven and porcelain tiles. This is due to the tile cutters spring loaded, vibration dampened breaker, which can score thicker tiles or those with relief surfaces with less effort and higher accuracy.
The Sigma 3LM MAX SERIES tile cutter has a tungsten carbide scoring wheel with a ball bearing mounting for a smooth operation and scores the tile by pushing the breaker along the surface of the tile. Moving the breaker handle of this manual tile cutter upwards quickly breaks the tile while the sprung-loaded base plates absorb the impact.
The Sigma 3LM MAX SERIES tile cutter has a swivelling measurement bar that rotates through 45 degrees in both directions with a scale to accurately determine the angle of cut. This measurement bar has two scales which allow the length of tile to be measured from the centre of the cutting line in either centimetres or inches.
The quick-change system on the guide rail allows the handle type to be changed to a standard or Klick Klock if required. These extra handles are not supplied with this manual tile cutter and must be purchased separately.
With a weight of 7.7kg, the maximum straight cut length is 52cm and diagonal cuts can be made on tiles measuring up to 37x37cm.
The breaking Strength of this Sigma tile cutter is 1150kg.
